3.

 Relationships

Are you feeling disconnected from others? Would you like to experience emotional intimacy, but something is getting in the way of doing so? Are you finding yourself often feeling angry with others? Do you experience panic when your loved one shifts focus from you?

There is a reason. Let's get to the bottom of it, so you can enjoy your favorite people (and yourself).

4.

Meditation

Do you want to feel more connected to yourself and the world around you?

Would you like to learn how to welcome complex emotions and feelings as messengers without needing to avoid them or sink deeper into them?

Would you like to experience more JOY in your life, even amongst difficulty?

If yes, iRest meditation skills are for you!

Grief

"Grief never ends...but it changes. It's a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith...It is the price of love."

About Me
My Approach

Suzie's Approach

At the heart of my practice is the desire to create a safe place for my clients to heal and experience a sustained restoration of self, safety in the world and increased connection with others. We heal from our wholeness, that part of ourselves that has always been present since birth and can never become broken; I assist people in reconnecting with the part of themselves that fosters

empowerment as they use individual strengths to facilitate their own unique becoming process.

My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and client-centered with an attachment theory focus. I work with clients in a collaborative way, sharing and explaining options for treatment. The intervention used is dependent on each individual’s needs, goals, and learning style.

Additionally, faith-based counseling can be integrated into the work upon request.

I absolutely LOVE what I do! I hope to join with you on your healing journey.

About Suzie

In 1992 I moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho with my husband, Jason, and it was here in beautiful Northern Idaho that we raised our four daughters! While raising our daughters, I pursued my Social Work degree and volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) supporting children in the court system, worked with refugees through World Relief Spokane, volunteered with the homeless population, supported those in crisis  as a volunteer crisis counselor at a mental health crisis line (Crisis Text Line) and worked as a Hospice Social Worker. These volunteer and work experiences spanned from 2008 - 2019.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Idaho and a member of the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).
